CECOFLES to present results of fertility treatment cycles in ASRM Annual Meeting INVO Bioscience, Inc. , a medical device company focused on treatment options for patients diagnosed with infertility, today announced that Dr. Elkin Lucena of the Columbian Fertility and Sterility Center will show the results of the first 95 fertility treatment cycles undertaken at the Center utilizing INVO Bioscience’s INVOcell technology at the 66th Annual Interacting with of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine on October 26, 2010 in Denver, Colorado.Data was obtained from the Swedish Malignancy Registry, which reports on malignancy occurrence for the whole country. The common follow-up time was 18.4 years. The analysis is the longest follow-up research on cosmetic breasts implants and risk of cancers incidence to date. The authors identified 180 cancers in ladies with breast implants, fewer than the 193.1 predicted that occurs in this population. Cosmetic implants weren’t associated with an increased risk of cancer overall. Women with implants experienced an increased incidence of lung cancer and a decreased incidence of breast cancer compared with the overall population. The authors recommend the higher incidence of lung tumor may be because of the high prices of smoking cigarettes in Swedish women with cosmetic breast implants.
